FAKTA TENTANG COKLAT


Coklat dan coklat....sedapnya~~....ada macam-macam coklat kat luar sana...ada nini Cokolat Celup...ada choki-choki...ada bar coklat macam Cadbury...ada yang jenis candy, ada yang untuk makan...untuk mandi pun ada...yaaa...ada fakta yang anda mungkin tau....dan mungkin xtau....mari kita kongsi sama2..okey?

1. Makanan Asasi kami adalah coklat!! Korang makan nasi hari2 atau roti atau maggi bagi yang kurang mampu....atau roti canai....Tapi tribe ni makan coklat hari2...nama tribenye South Mexico Olmec tribe pada zaman 1000 B.C. Staple food diorang ni..Isk x3 ...bawak2 la makan nasi.....

2. Korang suka x kalau kenduri arwah makan coklat...kenduri kahwin makan coklat, kenduri tahlil makan coklat, kenduri kesyukuran makan coklat, bak kata semua kenduri la....mesti mual punya kan...tapi The Mayan macam tu....tapi minum air coklat @ koko la...macam air coklat Cadbury tu...emmmm...ada Marshmellow x?

3. Biasanya coklat berjenama mahal kan? Lagi2 yang import punya...Some chocolates may cost you but did you know that Cacao or chocolates beans were used as currency by Aztec and Maya tribes? If we had that today we would be eating out of our wallets! Mahal!!

4. Dulu2 orang minum coklat je..atau koko la...tapi siapa yang 1st buat coklat bar atau yang keras2 tu...Thank Mexican nuns from the 1700’s as they created and exported the first chocolate product as a fund raiser for their convent.

5. Coklat ada 500 rasa di dalamnya! patut la sedap....Lidah kita mungkin detect beberapa rasa utama.....tapi otak kita dapat "rasa" lebih drp tu.... Vanilla and strawberry don’t even come close to this figure.

6. Mexican Emperor Montezuma meminum coklat cair @ (air coklat?) bergelas-gelas sebelum melayani ratusan "gadis-gadis" simpanannya dalam satu malam!!. Since chocolate make you feel good, it is considered an aphrodisiac.Mak aih.....buat pengetahuan anda....dia minum coklat asli dari biji koko yang dipanggang dan bukan dari mana-mana minuman coklat yang di dapati dari pasaraya berdekatan...dan rasanya...bukan macam Oligo Koko...dijamin!!

7. Coklat di "hidupkan semula" pada tahun 1879 apabila Daniel Peter dan Henre Nestle memperkenalkan milk chocolate kepada dunia....mamat dua orang ni la pengasas Nestle (duh!)...so bila korang minum Milo atau makan Coklat dari Nestle, ingat la mamat dua orang ni..... Pada tahun yang sama,Rudolphe Lindt memperkenalkan teknik conching supaya coklat licin dan lembut...macam Softlan la pulak!! Sebelum proses ni mungkin coklat keras macam batu kot....payahnya nak makan coklat~~

8. Napoleon membawa coklat semasa perang...Ini adalah kerana coklat merupakan pembekal tenaga yang sangat baik berbanding makanan tentara yang rasa macam tahahapehape (masa tu la). Dia juga dikhabarkan membawa Aiskrim perisa Neapolitan...yang ada 3 rasa tu...jimat katanya...beli satu-satu kan mahal~~

10. Coklat tidak menaikkan tekanan darah...cuma apabila anak anda makan coklat lalu dilapnya coklat kat tangan dia kat baju baru anda, sofa mahal anda, kusyen dalam kereta, muka anda, muka jiran anda, .....maka itu mungkin menaikkan darah anda...Anda boleh makan coklat...tapi ala kadar je la.....kalo makan satu bar yang seploh hengget tu.....mmg sah tempah nahas la....Moderation.....adalah bagus~~

RESEPI COKLAT


Harap anda mendapat sedikit info mengenai coklat....Ada yang nak belajar macam mana Buat White Coklat Cheesecake?? Yummy....I can has Chocolate Cheezecake?


White Chocolate Cheesecake

12 servings

1 cup shortbread cookie crumbs (store bought or recipe)
3 Tbs. finely chopped slivered almonds, toasted
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 Pkg. cream cheese (8 oz), softened
1 Pkg. (6 oz) white chocolate baking bar, (melted and cooled) Instructions on melting chocolate.
2/3 cup sugar
3 eggs
2/3 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

In a small mixing bowl, combine cookie crumbs and almonds. Stir in melted butter. Press onto bottom of 9-inch springform or cheesecake pan.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and cooled white chocolate baking bar until combined.
Beat in sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla; beat on low speed till just combined. Pour over prepared crust. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for about 45 minutes or until center appears almost set.
Cool on wire rack for 15 minutes. Loosen cake from sides of pan. Cool 30 minutes more; remove sides of pan. Cool completely. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Other serving suggestions:
1. After slicing cheesecake, top with Raspberry sauce. Serve with whip cream.
2. Cut up fresh strawberries and arrange them on each slice of cheesecake, then glaze with Strawberry Preserve.
3. Using a milk or dark chocolate bar (Ghiradelli works well,) shave off chocolate curls, using a knife. Arrange them on top of each slice of cheesecake.

Tips:
1. To cut perfect cheesecake slices, use a wet knife.
2. A white chocolate baking bar is unsweetened, pure chocolate with no sugar or flavorings added.
3. If you use the shortbread recipe, omit the glaze and the raspberry jam. Follow the directions for the rest of the recipe. After cookies have cooled, crumble enough cookies in a ziplock back to make 1 cup.

Storage suggestions:
1. This will stay fresh up to 3 days in refrigerator and 1 week in freezer. Cover with plastic wrap or a cake box with a lid.
